FAQs
General questions
What’s changing at On?
We are transitioning from our current procurement structure and technology setup to an e-procurement solution provided by Coupa.
After the Go-Live, all transactions with the suppliers will be managed through the Coupa platform. This configuration will enable us to be connected online and allow procure-to-pay activities to happen via web. All sourcing and contracting activities will also be done through Coupa.
Please note that after the system goes live, we will only interact with our suppliers through the Coupa platform.
We will help you get set up and ensure you’re ready to use Coupa before going live.
What is Coupa?
Coupa is a leading cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) spend management platform that unifies the procure-to-pay business process across companies. Coupa unites e-commerce shopping ease with procurement management processes, saving time and money.
What are my options for connecting to On’s Coupa platform for purchase orders and invoices?
Any of the following options can be used for exchanging POs and Invoices with On:
1.     Supplier Actionable Notification: Here, users interact directly from their email inbox. Receiving purchase orders and creating invoices can occur without registering or logging in to the Coupa Supplier Portal. This is recommended for small or medium businesses with a low volume of transactions with On.
2.     Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP): Suppliers will receive an email invitation to register on the CSP. Suppliers can view Purchase Orders, create electronic invoices, and configure Purchase Order transmission preferences all within Coupa. You can log into the CSP to view Purchase Orders, plus create and send invoices electronically. This is recommended for medium-to-large-sized businesses with a moderate number of transactions with On.
3.     cXML connection: A technical connection, this option is recommended for large businesses with an established IT team. Any business needing a cXML connection (or cXML transmission) will already be familiar with this type of connection.

Where can I get more information on the Coupa supplier portal?
Coupa’s online help website offers a variety of written references and video demonstrations on many useful topics. For example,  “What is the CSP?”, “How do I create catalogs?”, “How do I receive purchase orders and send invoices?” and more can be easily found.
How do I access the csp?
All suppliers must receive an invitation from the On to join the CSP.
If I use the csp, who pays me?
On is still responsible for paying you directly. Coupa does not pay suppliers on behalf of customers.

cXML transmission
How do I implement cxml on my website?
If a cXML connection isn’t set up yet, it will typically require a wider IT team to establish connectivity and get transacting with On. If there’s an existing cXML connection, the supplier should reach out to On.
Are there fees associated with integrating through a cxml connection?
There are no fees charged for the integration of a cXML connection with On through Coupa.
